Pilgrimage

Love in every moment

fight to bloody nose and mouth

for faith

hold the shape

watch myself commune

savor the pilgrimage

remove expectation

love yourself darling

Living and Dead

Brown, the colour of dirt

Flowers grow out of soil.

Red, the colour of blood

Life and death in an image.

Light blue, the colour of the sky today

Hope and terror align.

Green, the colour of long blades of grass

Blades: they sound violent.

Yellow, the colour of dying leaves

Something got a meal.

Grey, the colour of my rock perch

I saw a bird with a broken leg.

Mossy, the colour of the water here

Mix the living and the dead.

So Nice of You to Include Me (Piece 2 of _)

Listen; I really love you

And your abstinence

Frustrates me.

Can you explore your distinctions

Between civility and fear?

While I move the hands,

You hold them.

I stride the feet,

But you tell us where to go.

You're right, we've danced together

For so many years.

I love the feel of your soul.

When we pray in nature, I have never felt so bold.

On that note,

I am here to tell you

That I am not to be tamed.

Don't

Attempt to domesticate me.
